Chromacolor TV
This new Zenith Chromacolor picture tube is another Zenith step forward in picture
brightness and performance. New phosphor technology and closer processing
controls make possible this greater picture brightness. Every phosprior dot is
surrounded with jet-black and fully illuminated. The Black-Surround contrast field
provides accurate color registration while preventing washout to achieve a natural,
true-to-life,color picture. This allows use of a transparent face plate for a greater
degree of light transmission. To reduce intensity of room glare and window
reflections, this patented Chromacolor tube features Zenith's Glare-Ban picture
face. Zenith Chromacolor: the natural, true-'to-life color with the difference you
can see.
